Hello, my name is Burns Blackwell. My journey with Terminix began as a summer job in 1996 and ultimately became a full-time career in 2001. I am a proud 4th Generation of our family in the business. Our industry completely revolves around the people, and nothing is more important to me than how we take care of our customers and assist our teammates in building careers. I was born and raised in Greensboro, NC and continue to live here with my wife Laura and our three sons Mills, Davis, and Henry. When I’m not on the job, I am an avid golfer and also enjoy duck hunting.

Harden Blackwell

Chairman

Hello, my name is Harden Blackwell. I’m the Chairman here at Terminix Triad. I’ve been working with the company since 1971 and have really enjoyed seeing the growth of all of our people over the decades. Both the customers and our employees have made this a wonderful career. Born and raised in Burlington, I still happily live in the Triad with my wife. We have two wonderful sons and six beautiful grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy playing a round or two of golf.

Hi, my name is Juanita. I have been working at Terminix since 2009, and I love the family culture we have here. I was born in Halifax county, VA and when I’m not working I enjoy listening to music, traveling to the mountains, and spending time with my family and my dogs. Some of my favorite hobbies include hiking, photography and listening to music.

Hey there, my name is Greg. I was born in Greensboro, NC and have been working at Terminix for the past decade. My favorite thing about working in this industry is the interaction with our customers. Cathy Edwards

Controller

Hello, my name is Cathy! In my role as the Controller, I oversee all accounting activity, including financial reporting and audits. I have been a member of the Terminix team since 1994 and I enjoy the small office environment and strong teamwork. As a Triad local, born and raised in Greensboro, when I’m not at work I love to spend time with family, read, browse tag sales and antique stores in the area, and beachcomb.

David Tawney

Regional Manager

​​Hi, I’m David! I joined the Terminix family in 2011 and moved my way up from the High Point Branch Manager to Region Manager. What I enjoy most is having the opportunity to take care of customers’ needs by protecting their biggest investment with the services we offer. I also enjoy helping and coaching other team members to be successful in the industry so they are able to deliver great customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction with the services we provide.

Hi, I’m Brandi! I’m the Technical Director here at Terminix Triad. Jeff Weidhaas

Technical Training & Safety Manager

Hello there, I’m Jeff Weidhaas! I’m the Technical Training and Safety Manager here at Terminix Triad. I provide the training to our new employees to prepare them for providing safe, reliable services to our Triad residents. I devote my time to helping our company devise control solution strategies and safety processes to ensure the entire team is at the forefront of our industry. I began working in the industry in 1993 and joined Terminix in 2010. My favorite thing about working here is helping all of our employees to become experts in our industry.

I grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia (Go Hokies!), love the mountains, and I play trumpet in a local “Carolina Beach Music” band in my spare time. My job is particularly rewarding because my father played trumpet and was also an Entomologist. I suppose the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree after all…

Hi, my name is Jay! I was born and raised in Julian, and live there now with my family.
